8. Cut the panel to the required shape and secure it to the
frame as previously described.
INSTALL END WALL PANELS (CONTINUED)
10. Cut a panel to the required length and secure the panel
to the end wall frame.
Position the rib with the anti-
siphon groove at the top
where it is overlapped by the
classic rib of the next panel.
NOTE:
Notch the panel corners as needed to allow for
a proper fit against the end rafters and around the ends
of the base rail. See the arrows in the diagram below.
11. Repeat the steps of the previous procedure to prepare
and install the next panel shown in the diagram below.
12. Measure the remaining upper opening of the end wall
to determine the approximate length of the final panel
and cut a panel to that length.
13. Place the rectangular panel in position, hold it in place,
and use the rafter as template to mark the rafter outline
on the back of the panel.
14. Cut the panel to the required shape and secure it to the
frame as previously described and as shown above.
15. Repeat the above procedures to prepare and attach
the metal panels to the remaining ends of the outrigger
frames.
NOTE:
For a standard building, there are two (2) sliding
doors. These can be located in any end of the outrigger
frames. When installing the panels,
the classic rib will
overlap the rib with the anti-siphon groove.
16. Once all end walls of the outrigger frames are covered,
continue with the installation of the metal roof panels.
ATTENTION:
The diagrams presented in the INSTALL
ROOF PANELS procedure that follows
do not
show
the end panels that were installed in the procedure that
was completed above. The installation steps are not
affected. Proceed as instructed.
If the mounting bolts for the
connection plates interfere
with the installation of the
metal panels, remove the
screws as needed and
reinstall through the metal
panel and plate.
NOTE:
The upper
panel overlaps the
lower panel.
