ATTACH OUTRIGGER METAL PANELS
The following steps describe one way to install the metal
panels for the outrigger frames of the building. The main
steps include:
1. Cover all end walls of the outrigger frames
2. Cover the roof portion of the outrigger frames.
3. Cover the inside walls of the main frame.
NOTE:
Use Tek screws and neo-bonded washers to
secure all metal panels to the building frame. Consult
the diagram below for recommended screw locations.
INSTALL END PANELS FOR OUTRIGGER FRAME
Gather the parts to cover the all outrigger end wall frames:
• 98" metal panels and tools to cut the panels to size
• Tek screws and neo-bonded washers
WARNING:
Use gloves and caution when handling the
metal panels. The edges are sharp!
After framing the end walls of the outrigger frames, install
the metal panels. Use the diagrams that follow to install the
panels in the correct locations.
Use the short 98" panels to
cover the end wall frames. Do not use the 146" panels.
1. Beginning at the door end of one outrigger frame,
measure
from the inside edge of the door frame
to the
outside edge of the outrigger rafter leg and cut an 8' 2"
panel to cover the area.

Step 1:
Measure the
opening.
NOTE:
Cut the corner of the
panel to allow room for the
end of the 2" x 3" base rail of
the outrigger frame. See the
diagrams that follow.
2. Set the panel section in place and secure it to the
frame using Tek screws and neo-bonded washers.
NOTE:
Position the anti-siphon groove to the top. See
the Panel Diagram on the previous page if needed.
7. Place the rectangular panel in position with the classic
rib down, hold in place, and use the rafter as template
to mark the rafter outline on the back of the panel.
3. Place the remainder of the 98" panel against the frame
with the classic rib overlapping the rib with the anti-
siphon groove of the first panel.
4. Use a marker to trace the rafter outline on the panel,
remove the panel, and cut it to cover the area.
NOTE:
Classic ribs always overlap the ribs the include
the anti-siphon groove.
5. Place the cut panel back on the frame and secure it as
previously described. See the above diagrams.
6. Measure the remaining upper opening of the end wall
to determine the approximate length of the final panel
and cut a 98" panel to that length.

bottom.
