6. Wrap the remaining end around the purlin clamps
and secure each cable using two (2) cable clamps.
7. Continue by assembling and attaching the next 20'
cross cable to complete the installation of the first
cable pair. Consult the diagrams as needed.
8. Repeat as needed to install the 16' cross cables to
complete the installation of the first cross cable set.
9. Repeat the steps to cut, assemble, and attach the
cables for the remaining two (2) cross cable sets.
10. Once all cross cables are installed, continue by
tightening all cables.
TIGHTEN THE CABLES FOR THE FRAME
1. Verify that all rafters are aligned.
2. At one long cable (dashed line below: 12:00 o'clock-
to-center position), tighten the turnbuckle until snug.
3. Move to the rafter cable across from the first at the
6:00 o'clock-to-center position and repeat the steps
to tighten that cable turnbuckle.
4. Move to the 9:00 o'clock-to-center position and
tighten the turnbuckle.
5. Continue to repeat this pattern until all long cable
assemblies are snug.
NOTE:
The distance between the cable
and the rafter it
is attached to
should be about the same
for all cables
.
6. Once all long cables are snug, move to the cross
cables at one location and measure diagonally from
connection point to connection point
for each cable
pair
