(1) 10015808 Two-Socket Cross
Complete these steps. Consult diagrams as needed.
1. Locate the pipe sections for one horizontal sidewall
frame tube and assemble the bottom frame tube.
2. Slide one single-socket tee onto the assembled
pipe.
NOTE:
Do not tighten the tee at this time.
3. Using a 5/16" bolt and 5/16" nut, attach one 105098
pipe end to each end of the horizontal pipe.
4. Repeat the above steps for the top horizontal frame
tube.
5. Assemble the pipe sections for the last/middle
horizontal tube and slide one
two-socket cross fitting
onto the pipe assembly as shown below.
6. Attach the bottom horizontal tube assembly to the
ground posts using the carriage bolts, lock washers,
and nuts from the 104302 assembly. (See Pictorial
Parts Guide ID page if needed.)
7. Insert the first 45" section of vertical pipe into the
single-socket tee on the bottom pipe and tighten the
set screw using an Allen wrench to secure the pipe.
8. Take the middle horizontal pipe assembly, insert the
vertical pipe (previous step) into the two-socket
fitting, and attach the middle pipe to the ground
posts as previously described
.
9. Repeat the above steps to attach the top horizontal
frame assembly.
10. Once the section of frame is installed between the
first set of ground posts, center the vertical pipe
between the posts and tighten all Allen set screws
and mounting bolts.
11. Install a Tek screw (FA4484) at the pipe joint of each
horizontal frame tube assembly to secure the joint.
NOTE:
Position the Tek screw so that it will not touch
the side panels if these are installed.
12. Repeat the above procedure to install the remaining
sections of frame between the ground posts.
