Use
CAUTION!
■
Never hold the nozzles close to parts of your body or animals during use and do not
place your hands inside the nozzles. They could become stuck to the device/injured.
If the vacuum cleaner does become stuck, switch the device off immediately (
press the On / Off switch).
■
Switch on the vacuum cleaner only when you have made sure that all the parts have
been completely attached.
■
Always switch the device off

rst before you replace a nozzle or attach or remove any
other accessories!
■
On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
–
Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
–
Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
–
In
fl
ammable or explosive substances
–
Very
fi
ne dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
–
Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
1. To switch on the vacuum cleaner, press the On / Off switch on the device. The red
operating lamp lights up.
2. You can use the button to switch between two speed settings.
3. Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.
When you use the
fl
oor nozzle, tilt the motor unit
backwards to release it from its locked position. It
can then be moved freely on all sides.
4. When you press the On / Off button on the
fl
oor nozzle, the rotating brush is switched on
and off.
5. The green control lamp indicates that the battery
is too weak and needs to be charged up.
6. Press the On / Off switch again to switch off
the device.
7. Empty and clean the dust container, the cyclone insert and the HEPA
fi
lter regularly
to prevent the motor from overheating (see “Cleaning the Device and Accessories”,
page 26). Empty the dust container after each use to ensure optimum performance
from the device.
