7. Remove the charged battery from the charging station,
slide the cover plate onto the battery and insert the bat-
tery back into the motor unit.
8. Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket. Store the
charging station and the mains adapter in a cool, dry
indoor room out of the reach of children and animals.
Assembling the Device
The device should only be used when it is fully and correctly assembled! The motor unit
with the battery, the dust container, the suction hose, the suction tube and one of the
suction nozzles supplied must be assembled.
You can

nd out how to attach accessories to the motor unit and how to remove them in
this chapter.
Dust Container
• Inserting: Make sure that the dust container has been
correctly assembled and closed (see the “Cleaning
the Device and Accessories” chapter, “Cleaning the
Dust Container, Cyclone Insert and HEPA Filter”, page
26). Place the dust container onto the motor unit.
Press the dust container handle against the housing un-
til it engages audibly.
• Removing: Press the release button on the dust con-
tainer handle and remove the dust container.
Suction Hose
The suction hose is attached to the
fl
oor nozzle to clean
fl
oors. If you want to use the
combi nozzle or upholstery nozzle, it is connected to the handle.
Floor nozzle
1. Hold the

oor nozzle. If the motor unit is at-
tached to the

oor nozzle,

ip the motor unit backwards.
2. Insert the end piece of the suction hose onto the suction
opening of the
fl
oor nozzle. It must engage.
3. You can then insert the suction hose into the suction
hose holder.
• To remove the suction hose, press the release button
on the end piece of the suction hose and then pull it off.
