• Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket.
• Switch the appliance on (I) or off (O) using the switch. If the
red LED is lit, the appliance is ready for operation. The heat
-
ing phase has begun.
• Close the cover.
• After around 12 min, the green LED lights up. The heating
phase is complete. The rollers are hot and ready for use.
NoTE:
The temperature is controlled by a thermostat. The heat
switches back on automatically.
General Use
CAUTIoN:
Only use the rollers on
dry
hair.
• Select the roller size depending on the length and style of
hair you want to have. For tight curls use small rollers; for
wavy hair use large rollers.
• To secure the roller there is a metal clip matching the size of
the roller. The sizes are colour-coded.
• To retain the heat in the appliance, only open the cover
briefly to remove the roller.
• Take a part of the hair, comb it and wind it around the roller.
The lock of hair should not be wider than the roller.
• Secure your hair to the roller using a clip.
• Repeat the process with the other rollers.
• Switch the appliance off if you no longer need it. Pull out the
mains plug.
• Leave the rollers in your hair, until they have fully cooled
(around half an hour).
• Then remove the clips and unwind the rollers again.
• Remove any hair that has stuck to the roller, so that it does
not burn when the roller is next heated.
• Finally style the hair with your fingers. Do not use brushes!
• Hold in place with spray or hair wax.
NoTE:
For better hold you can wash your hair before putting in the
rollers, apply mousse and blow dry.

Do
not
apply styling products to the rollers!
Cleaning and Storage
WARNING:
► Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
► Wait until the appliance has fully cooled!
► Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in
water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in
an electric shock or fire.
CAUTIoN:
► Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
► Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• You can wipe the rollers with a lightly damped cloth.
• Clean the casing with a soft, dry cloth – without any ad
-
ditional cleaning agents. If required you can lightly dampen
the cloth.
• Keep the inside of the appliance free of hair, dust or any
foreign objects.
• Make sure there are no metal clips on the base plate. Use
the accessory compartments to store the clips.
• Plug the rollers onto the rods. The different sizes of the
rollers have been marked on the base plate to help you. This
helps when putting away the rollers.
