10. Allow the oil to drain from the food that has been fried by hanging
the deep-frying basket on the edge of the fat container with the
help of the device on the basket.
11. In order to switch the deep-fat fryer off, press the POWER ON/
OFF button (4) and remove the mains plug from the socket.
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning and wait until the unit
has cooled down.
• Do not immerse the device in water! It could result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Pour the oil out of the side.
• Clean the deep frying fat container, the lid and the housing with a
damp cloth and household detergent if necessary.
• You can clean the deep frying basket by hand in soapy water.
• Wipe out the housing with the moist towel from the outside.
• The lid can be removed by pushing the two retaining devices on
the side of the lid hinge towards the rear at the same time. This
makes cleaning easier.
• Wipe off the appliance lid with the moist towel.
• In order to replace the filter, press down the retaining device of the
filter cover on the inside of the lid and pull the cover out towards
the front.
