Confi guration of the AC 8000 for use with R134a gas.
Composition of the SA 1340 kit:
Modifi cation:
• Stick on the ‘’R134a’’ sticker delivered with the AC
8000,
• replace the fi ttings delivered with the AC 8000 by
those of the kit,
• replace the cylinder connection delivered with the machine by the one in the kit,
• modify the srvGasType parameter in the maintenance menu of the machine:
1/ connect the machine to the electrical socket without switching it on;
2/ press the buttons at the same time and switch on the machine;
3/ release the 2 buttons, the maintenance menu is activated;
4/ select the parameter menu:
5/ select the parameter srvGazType and enter the value 0 (0=R134a; 1=R1234yf);
6/ switch off the machine, the value is stored.
Note:
When changing this parameter, the R1234yf vehicle database is automatically replaced by
that of the R134a gas.
