GENERAL INFORMATIONS
Preliminary instructions/correct use
This recycling and recharging unit for A/C system is intended for commercial use and has been
designed to be used only by qualified personnel who are familiar with the principles of refrigeration,
aware of the dangers deriving from equipment working under pressure with substances at a very
low boiling temperature.
We advise you to read this instruction manual carefully and to strictly observe the information
provided, paying particular attention to the safety rules.
We accept no liability for incorrect use of the equipment, use for purposes other than those
described in this instruction manual, incorrect operation and damage resulting from external
influences.
Always keep the appliance in an upright position to avoid oil leaks and damage to the compressor.
General safety instructions
• Read the instructions carefully before starting to use this air conditioning service unit;
• Follow the refrigerant manufacturer’s training and instructions;
• Follow the vehicle’s C/A system maintenance instructions that apply to the company;
• Use only the refrigerant specified on the type plate (R1234YF or R134a).
• Do not modify the service unit;
• Use only original spare parts and accessories;
• Use only authorised additives or consumables (ask an authorised dealer for advice);
• Before starting the machine, first check that the charging hoses and quick couplings are intact
and not leaking;

• Do not leave the unit unattended when it is switched on; Use the main switch to switch off the
unit after use;
• Always wear personal protective equipment, in particular gloves and goggles, in addition to the
general safety rules applying to the company;
• Avoid inhaling the refrigerant gas;
• Avoid skin contact with refrigerant gas, risk of freezing;
• Never release refrigerant gas into the environment;
• Do not use the unit in a potentially explosive environment; (e.g. battery charging rooms);
• Do not smoke while using the recharge unit;
• During operation, place the unit on a flat and level surface;
• Do not use the unit near flames or heat sources; at high temperatures, the refrigerant gas can
generate substances that are toxic to inhale;
• Do not use the unit in high humidity and wet environments or in the rain;
• Use the unit in ventilated environments;
• During maintenance operations, disconnect the unit from the power supply.
• Avoid removing the connecting pipes if not necessary; otherwise, always create a suction in the
pipes before using again;
• Maintenance must be carried out by authorised and specialised personnel.
• Do not modify for any reason the safety devices of the unit such as the pressure relief valve of
the internal tank.
• Do not fill the pipes of the service unit or in the air conditioning system of the vehicle with
compressed air (a mixture of air and refrigerant may be flammable or explosive);
