Automatic A/C duty cycle, manual or automatic working parameter settings
Note: Always wear safety gloves and safety glasses when operating
an A/C system!
The A/C duty cycle can be performed in three ways:
A -
Automatic work cycle: all work phases in one step
B -
Manual work cycle: each work phase performed step by step
C -
Semi-automatic work cycle: recovery, oil change, fi rst vacuum stage. Oil/dye and gas refi ll
carried out after the oil quantity has been set by the user.
In all cases, there is no adjustment required for the recovery phase. The time of the vacuum test
and the amount of refrigerant :
• can be taken from the internal database or
• can be set by the user (manual parameter setting).
The amount of dye must be defi ned by the user (default is 0 g). In this case there is no dye
injection.
The amount of new oil can be set in two ways:
• It can be set by the user without taking into account the recovered oil (oil setting in
«MANUAL»
)
• It can be set by the user according to the amount of recovered oil. In this case, the oil quantity
must be set by pressing the
DOWN
button, below 0, the sign «-» («semi-automatic») will be
displayed and the unit will stop after the vacuum to allow the user to evaluate the quantity of
recovered oil and set the quantity of the new oil.
