Filling the internal cylinder
For safety reasons, the unit is delivered with the internal gas cylinder empty. It is therefore
necessary to fi ll the cylinder with a quantity of refrigerant in g not less than 2 Kg and not
more than 80% of the maximum nominal capacity of the tank (this percentage may vary
according to local safety regulations). To fi ll the internal tank, follow the instructions in
this manual (see Accessories section). To connect to the cylinder, use the HP hose with
the HP quick coupling (a special coupling is required to connect the quick coupling to
the cylinder, see below).

Connecting to the power supply
Connect to the appropriate power supply according to the technical specifi cations of the
unit.
Place on a fl at surface
During operation, the unit should be placed on a fl at, level surface to ensure proper
weight measurements and compliance with safety standards.
Preliminary test
Connect the power cable to the mains (230V AC single phase) and turn on the main switch.
Check that the refrigerant used by the A/C system to be serviced is the one the service unit is
designed for: R1234yf for the AC 8000 and R134a for the AC 8134.
Check the oil levels (vacuum pump and new oil tank).
