Care and maintenance
The frying basket and oil basin are dishwasher safe.
NOTE:
Never immerse the control
panel, mains lead or plug in water or other liquids.
1. Unplug the fryer from the power point and make sure that the oil has cooled
(1–2 hours after use) before cleaning the fryer.
2. Remove the basket from the oil basin.
3. Empty the frying oil into an appropriate container.
4. Wash the lid in warm water and washing-up liquid.
5. The exterior of the fryer can be cleaned using a slightly moistened cloth.
Never use a washing-up brush or chemical cleaning agents.
6. The frying oil may be filtered and reused but should probably be changed after
every 8–10 uses or before if necessary.
Filtering the oil
1. Remove the basket and the heating
element from the basin and empty
the cooled oil into a suitable container.
2. Filter the oil through e.g. a coffee filter.
