Program control
Thanks to this function you can control the
light strength and the mute function on
a TV without having to switch between the
different device buttons.
If you have copied any other function on any
of the VOL+, VOL- or MUTE buttons in any
of the DVD, SAT, VCR or CBL device mo-
des, the programme control function will not
work with the corresponding device mode.
advanced usage
Smart Programme (Smart 1, Smart 2,
Smart 3)
The remote control has three kinds of
programmable SMART programmes that
can be programmed with up to 0 steps
(button functions) for each. With the help of
SMART, one can programme several button
functions with time delay to activate several
different functions by only pressing the
SMART button.
To programme a multi-function button
1. Press [ P+ ] & [ VOL– ] on the universal
remote control simultaneously for
seconds until the indicator (blue LED
light) is lit.
. Enter the code for SMART programming
0009.
. The SMART icon is lit in the lower part
of the display.
4. Chose desired Smart button (for example
Smart 1).
. Chose a button function from the device
button that you wish to programme, the
indicator (blue LED light) flashes once for
every button function that is chosen.
6. Press and hold the chosen button to set
the sending period for the chosen com-
mand (up to 60 seconds). The sending
period will be as long as the time the
button is pressed.
