13. Press [ SAVE (Y) ] to save the settings.
14. Disconnect the camera from your computer.
15. In order for the camera to be able to adopt the new settings
the function switch
must be set to “TEST” and the camera allowed to start up and process
the settings, this will take approximately 30 seconds
. The function switch should
then be set to
ON
and the camera will work in accordance with the new settings.
16. We recommend that you test the camera close to home to ensure that everything
works as it should before placing it out in the field.
Things to consider:
• E-mail operators might have different security settings and levels. In some cases
you might have to change your security settings in order that another device
(the camera) can log on to your account.
•
Note:
It can be difficult to see the security levels of the various operators. If you
can’t get you e-mail to work despite following the steps in the example below,
we recommend that you only use the MMS function of the camera to ensure that
the photos are delivered.
