Display symbols
Note:
The display only lights up when the function selector is in
TEST
mode. It does
not
light up in
ON
mode. The display will turn blank approximately 3 minutes after
the last time a button is pressed in
TEST
mode.
Indicates that a SIM card is
loaded. If the
symbol is
displayed, this means that
the MMS function does not
work (problem with tele-
phone network, no or poor
coverage etc.).

Inserting a memory card
Note:
Make sure that the camera is off when the memory card is inserted.
Also make sure that the camera is off when you remove the card.
1. The camera is intended for SD/
SDHC memory cards 8–32 GB.
2. Make sure that the write protection
feature of the memory card is not
activated.
3. Open the lid (1) and carefully insert
an SD/SDHC memory card in
the card slot (4) as shown in the figure.
The memory card must be pushed
in until a “click” sound is heard.
Formatting the memory card
Format the memory card before use. Formatting means that anything saved on
the card will be deleted so as to make room for new files.
1. Lift the lid that covers the display.
2. Set the function switch (3) to the
TEST
mode.
3. The start screen is shown on the display.
4. Press [ MENU ] on the remote control,
the menu for setting the language,
“Setup Language”, is displayed.
