Fitting the batteries

The remote control is operated by 2 AAA type 1.5 V (LR03) alkaline bat-

teries.
To install or replace the batteries, proceed as follows (pic.2):
• Remove the cover of the battery housing

➊

• Remove the flat batteries, if in place.
• Fit the new batteries, observing the correct polarity

➋

• Refit the cover of the battery housing.

The first time that the batteries are fitted, the initial

current TIME/

DAY page

appears in the display, showing the default setting 12:00

and

Sunday.

Check the time and day and, if not correct, set the current time and
day,

see “Setting the time and day” on page 52.

Dispose of flat batteries by throwing them away in a special sorted

collection bin.
