TRANSMISSION OF WATERING PARAMETERS AND SETTINGS TO THE RF UNITS
To make certain that watering occurs according to the settings made with
the remote control, having completed the programming steps, the new
watering parameters must be transmitted to the RF Units to update them.
Procedure for transmission of watering parameters
• Take up a position with the remote control, ideally less than 10 metres
from the RF Unit to be updated.
• Press the
RF
button on the remote control: the
symbol will
start blinking. When the blinking stops, the display can appear with:
- the symbol permanently alight and the
ERR
symbol blinking — the
operation has been unsuccessful and must be repeated nearer to the RF Unit.
- the symbol no longer visible — transfer successful, the watering
programmes of the RF Unit will be started automatically.
• Parameters must also be
transferred after
any change
to the programming (e.g. new
time, duration of watering cycles in the
summer season, etc.).
• If the
PROG
symbol blinks in the display
of the remote control, this means that pro-
gramming changes have been made and not yet transmitted to the RF Units.
When the entire LCD display blinks, showing the current page
in alternation with a completely blank page, this means that
the remote control is trying to connect by radio with the RF
Units, or trying to re-establish a connection that was already activated but
has been interrupted accidentally.
