13.6 SNMP Management Information Bases

A managed object, sometimes called a MIB object, is one of many specific characteristics of a managed
device. The MIB consists of hierarchically organized object instances (variables) that are accessed by
network-management protocols such as SNMP. Section

lists the IETF standard MIBs

implemented in the ONS 15600 SDH SNMP agent. Section

lists the proprietary MIBs

implemented in the ONS 15600 SDH.
