interface configuration command to automatically configure quality of service
(QoS) for voice over IP (VoIP) within a QoS domain. Use the

form of this command to return to the
default setting.

Syntax Description
Defaults
Auto-QoS is disabled on the port.
When auto-QoS is enabled, it uses the ingress packet label to categorize traffic, to assign packet labels,
and to configure the ingress queues and egress queue-sets.
shows the default settings.
shows the generated auto-QoS configuration for the ingress queues.
cisco-phone
Identify this port as connected to a Cisco IP phone, and automatically configure QoS
for VoIP. The QoS labels of inbound packets are trusted only when the phone is
detected.
cisco-softphone
Identify this port as connected to a device running the Cisco SoftPhone, and
automatically configure QoS for VoIP.
trust
Identify this port as connected to a trusted switch or router, and automatically
configure QoS for VoIP. The QoS labels of inbound packets are trusted. For
nonrouted ports, the class of service (CoS) value of the inbound packet is trusted.
For routed ports, the Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) value is trusted.
