The following example shows how to enter the
show running-config
command with the question mark
(?) online help function to display the available subsets of the running configuration that can be entered
to display a subset of the running configuration:

show running-config
command that displays a subset of the
running configuration. In the following example, the
show running-config
command is used to display
the running configuration for Packet-over-SONET/SDH (POS) interface 0/2/0/1:

show running-config interface pos 0/2/0/1
interface POS0/2/0/1
ipv4 address 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0
The following is sample output from the
show running-config sanitized
command that displays a
sanitized version of the running configuration. The sanitized configuration can be used to share a
configuration without exposing some configuration details.
