Chapter 2 Installation

2.5 Cradle

The cradle is designed for charging and communications at the same time.

Place the cradle on a flat and clean surface.

Connect the line of the power adaptor to the power jack on the back of the cradle.

Connect the power adaptor to a suitable power outlet.

The cradle is ready for charging the terminal (loaded with main battery) and one spare

battery pack.

Seat the terminal and/or the spare battery pack then.

If data communications are desired at the same time, a USB connection must be

established as well. Make sure that you have Microsoft ActiveSync installed on your
computer before you connect the USB cable from the cradle’s USB Client port (

) to

your computer. Refer to
