f) The following is essential for the humidifiers:
•
Clean and descale the inside of the SECTION.
•
Check the condition of the packings.
•
Check the water distribution system.
•
Clean or replace the water supply filters.
•
Rinse: purge the blowdown, overflow and drain.
•
Remove the recirculation pump and check its condition (turbine, seals, packing glands, bearing, etc.) as well as the condition of the electrical connections (tightness).
•
Clean the float valve and check and adjust it.
•
Adjust the pump discharge pressure and the blowdown flow rate.
•
Check the operation of the overflow.
•
Check the access doors for leaks; replace the gaskets as needed.
