Descaling
In order to descale the washers and humidifiers, add a special scale inhibitor (not strong acids such as mineral acids, but a product that is safe for zinc and aluminium) to the
tank then run the fan and pump. Various brands of scale inhibitor can be obtained from various water and surface treatment specialists.
Drain (flush with copious amounts of clean water) then clean with another special product (do not use strong alkalis such as soda or potassium) obtained from the same
specialists.
This product will safely remain in the system.
Cleaning the modules

Remove the closure panel
•
Remove the top (1) and bottom (2) clips
•
Remove the pipes (3)
The modules can be pulled along the rails (4).
Clean them using pressurised water (water jet).
NB – Check that the supply pipes are replaced in the same order that they were removed.
