1. Basic recording
- Press the RECORD button, the REC indicator lights and recording starts.
- If there is loss video signal during recording, ‘VIDEO LOSS’ appears on the screen and
buzzer is alarming, however, recording is still processing.
- If you press the menu button during recording, main menu display on the screen and
recording mode is changed live mode.

Press the RECORD button to stop recording. The REC indicator light goes out.

2. Schedule recording
- Schedule recording is depending on the setting of the Schedule Setup menu.
3. Alarm recording
- Alarm recording is depending on the setting of the ALARM Setup menu.
- Alarm recording commences upon either of the following conditions;

Camera detect motion
If there is an alarm;
- DVR begins alarm recording for only alarm channel.
- An alarm index signal is automatically stored in memory when alarm recording begins.
Refer to Playback section for reviewing the index search.
- If alarm recording stops, screen is changed to quad mode.
If the DVR is programmed for pre-alarm recording, pre-alarm recordings are recording for
the time set in the Pre Rec setting.
If the DVR receives a new alarm signal while in the alarm recording mode;
- After finishing prior alarm recording, it records the channel that is alarming
consecutively.
4. Motion detection recording
- Motion detection recording is depending on the setting of the Motion Detection menu.
When in the alarm recording mode, the DVR records for the entire alarm recording
duration even if the end time specified in a schedule recording has been exceeded. Alarm
recording also continues as long as motion is detected within the area established for
motion detection. When motion stops, alarm recording continues for the time set in the
Rec Time setting.
