Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement
5.12.6 Lamp Adjuster Assembly (including IMCB)
(Estimated Replacement Time: 60 m 10 minute LampLOC™ Alignment)
The Lamp Adjuster Assembly is position at the back of the projector directly below the lamp blower and
ducting.
1. Remove lamp door. See
5.4.7 Lamp Door, on page 5-8 .
2. Remove lamp. See 5.12.5 Lamp, on page 5-30.
3. Remove the back cover. See 5.4.5 Back Cover, on page 5-7 .
4. Disconnect P35 and P36 from the Lamp Integrated Motor
Control Board.
5. Disconnect the two cathode wires from the cathode nut (one 4
mm hex screw) ( Figure 5-47 ).
6. Remove the three screws located at the base of the lamp blower.
Move the blower assembly to the side to gain access to the two
rear screws holding the lamp adjuster assembly in place
(
Figure 5-48 ).
7. Loosen the four captive screws, using a #2 Phillips
™
driver, which secure the lamp adjuster assembly to the
baseplate.
8. Remove the lamp adjuster assembly through the lamp door.
