7.4 Sample measurement:

 

For constituent of thickness or coating-thickness

 

Please measure and pay attention below. 

1) Place samples at the same position as in actual measurements, set the calibration curve number to 

0, and then read the display (absorbance "x"). 

2) The visible light is irradiated from this detector unit. Confirm that the samples cover the 

measurement area completely. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) Put the sample tilt by 15

°

 from the vertical surface and read the absorbance "x") 

 

 
4) Measure the thickness and coating- thickness “y” by a micro meter or other measuring methods. 

The thickness and coating- thickness “y” in this case is average value measured of 9 points in
