Coolers
Checking the coolers for cleanliness on air-cooled compressors
A clogged cooler at the air side will increase the power consumption. Heavy clogging will increase the
temperature of the compressed air and can cause operational issues due to a higher oil temperature.
To prevent clogging of the air coolers at the cooling air side, clean them at regular intervals; see also section
Maintenance.
7.3
Safety valve
Warning
Stop the compressor and switch off the voltage. The operator must apply all relevant Safety
precautions.
Never run the compressor without safety valves.
No adjustments are allowed.
Testing
The valve can be tested on a separate compressed air line.
Consult the Customer Centre if the valve does not open at the correct pressure (see the section Settings of
safety valve).
