INFORMATION
Handling
Care mus t be taken in handling the SpaceKeeper Cons ole units and other acces s ories
to ens ure that this equipment does not s ustain any damage. It is recommended that
the units be transported individually on a two–wheel cart.
The protective s hipping packaging s hould remain on the unit until it is ready for
ins tallation. During cons truction, the unit mus t not be run and shall be s heltered
from contaminants and debris s uch as drywall dust, wood chips, and paint that could
damage the fan or block the cooling/heating coil which may result in diminished
performance.
Storage
The unit mus t be s tored in an upright pos ition at all times .
Failure to maintain the unit in an upright pos ition may res ult in permanent damage
to the unit. Dropping the unit or expos ing it to extreme s hock or vibration may als o
res ult in permanent damage to the interior components and piping.
The unit s hall be s tored in a non-corros ive environment, s heltered from conditions of
extreme temperature or humidity. Subjecting the unit to conditions of this nature may
res ult in s ignificantly reduced performance, reliability, and operational life.
The unit is intended for interior us e only and s hould be stored indoors at all times to
protect it from the elements and to help eliminate the potential growth of indoor air
quality (IAQ) contaminants .
If indoor storage is not pos s ible, the equipment may be s tored outdoors during the
s ummer months only, if the following provisions are met:
1. The equipment mus t be placed on a dry s urface, or rais ed off the ground in a
manner which allows for air-circulation beneath the unit.
2. A waterproof tarp mus t be us ed to cover the equipment in order to provide
protection from the elements .
3. Continuous ventilation to the units mus t be provided to help prevent mois ture
accumulation on the interior and exterior s urfaces. Mois ture buildup on, or
within the unit’s ins ulation may res ult in microbial growth that can lead to
odors and s erious health-related IAQ problems .
4. The units mus t be s tored in their original packaging.
5. The individual units s hall not be s tacked on top of one another.
6. If the unit was previously in use, ensure that all water has been blown out and
