The transmission gear selector
is located on the left side of the vehicle.
L: Low Gear
H: High Gear
N: Neutral
R: Reverse
P: Park
To shift into Reverse or Park, you must first apply the rear
brake lever or pedal to activate the lock-out mechanism.
When shifting out of Reverse or Park, it's necessary to apply
the rear brake lever or pedal.
Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is moving could cause transmission
damage. To change gears, stop the vehicle, and with the engine idling, move the lever to the desired gear.
Apply the rear brake before attempting to shift into reverse or park.
Whenever the ATV is left unattended, always place the transmission in the park position.
Maintaining shift linkage adjustment is important to assure proper transmission function. See your dealer if
you experience any shifting problems.
