Starting system

Start auxilary relay

Start auxilary removal

Remove the tank.

●

Disconnect the connector [C].

●

Take out the auxilary relay[A] with rubber sleeve

[B] from the frame.

When battery is connected

When battery is disconnected

If the relay does not work as specified, the relay is

defective. Replace the relay.

Start Auxilary Relay Resistance Measure-

ment

Connect the hand tester [A] and starter auxilary

relay [B] as shown.

defective. Replace the relay.

Using the relay connection and disconnection test

is a more reliable way to determine the condition of

the starter relay than starter relay resistance
