Maintenance Procedures
Diagnostics
The ORACLE software contains a diagnostic testing procedure that runs a number of tests to ensure the hardware
and software components are all functioning within each parameters specified range. Each test can be run
individually, or all of the diagnostic tests can be run at once by using the Auto Run option. The system will routinely
ask the user to either place an oil standard tube (P/N 160065) in the magnet, or to remove it. It is imperative to
follow these directions exactly. The total test time for the Auto Run is only 30 minutes.
1.
Select the “Main Menu” icon followed by the Maintenance tab.

Select the “diagnostics” tab.

Select “Auto Run”.

The ORACLE software will walk the user through each procedure and instruct the user to remove or insert the
oil standard tube.

Every test result provides a value that is compared to the internal passing specifications of the unit. If a test
result is within the passing range, it will give a green check mark. If it is outside the passing range, it will be
designated by a red X.
NOTE
In the event of a failure, please complete the remaining Diagnostics tests, then follow the instructions to
export the Diagnostic Data in the manual and contact your local CEM service representative.

To review past Diagnostic results on the ORACLE, Choose the History tab. Every results from QC Tests, Diag-
nostics, and Setup will be displayed. Results can be filtered using the Sort/Filter option on the bottom of the
screen. See “Data Export” section for exporting data for further analysis.
