7.1 CELLINK pneumatic-based printhead

Mounting of a cartridge in the printhead

To mount a cartridge in the CELLINK pneumatic-based printhead, follow the steps 

below:

The CELLINK pneumatic-based printhead needs to be connected to an air supply in 

order to function. Do not forget to connect the pressure hose to the pressure connector 

on the printhead holder when inserting the printhead in BIO X!

Attach  the  pressure  hose  to  the  cartridge  by  twisting  the  pressure 
connector.
Insert the cartridge in the printhead and push it down until the wings of 
the cartridge touches the top of the printhead.
Secure the cartridge in the printhead by turning the cartridge fastening 
screw.
