5.4 Mounting requirements

Mounting location in the field or in the IP67 area, in immediate proximity of the
machine/system.
⚫
Any mounting position.
⚫
The mounting location guarantees:
▪
environmental conditions (see chapter 10 Technical data),
▪
flat, solid mounting surface
▪
short cable runs,
▪
mounting distances (see chapter Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden

▪
that connecting cables cannot be torn off,
▪
that the module cannot be used as climbing aid,
▪
easily visible diagnostic LEDs.

Fix the module on the wall or in the machine

SPMB 16DIO: 4x M4 screws with washers

SPMB 04AIO: 2x M4 screws with washers

Torque: 0,8 Nm

Earth the modules at the earthing contacts.

Fix the modules at the 4 or 2 fixing points directly on the wall or in the machine.
