4.3.7 Port and module numbering
To simplify the configuration management, the IoTHub system defines each group of 4 I/O ports as a
module by default. The SPMB-16DIO series ports of the P0 ~ P3 gateways are therefore defined as
Module_0. The ports P4 ~ P7 are defined as Module_1. see the following figure) The following
extended I/O modules are numbered sequentially with Module_2, Module_3, etc.

4.3.8 Channel description of the SPMB-16DIO series
The Spider67 Mobile Gateway has 16 freely configurable digital inputs or outputs. Pin 2 (B) and pin 4
(A) can be defined as input or output.
The I/O connection of the SPMB-16DIO Gateway is an A-coded standard M12 connection.
