7.D. LUBRICATION OF THE WEDGE DRIVER AND/OR ITS REPLACEMENT
It is recommended to lubricate the wedge driver to ensure perfect insertion of wedges. To do so,
use only the
Cassese’s grease Z1896
.
After proceeded to procedures
6.B. REMOVING THE STAPLING HEAD
and
6.C. REMOVING THE
SIDE PANEL
, perform this following procedure to ensure a perfect lubrication of your stapling
system or to proceed to the replacement of the wedge driver if it is necessary :
Inside the machine, using the 2.5mm Allen
key, unlock half a turn the both screws which
holding the wedge driver.
Pick up the wedge driver outside the machine
and pull it out.
After wound the wedge driver with the highest
part next to the wedge distribution channel,
remove the extra of grease as shown in image.
Shift the crossbar to the rebate clamp
completely.
Push the wedge driver inside the machine and
push it up.
Apply some grease on the wedge driver as
shown in image. Replace it if it is nicked on the
top of the piece or is broken and lubricate too.
