The engine oil level should be checked every 10 hour shift
or each day, whichever occurs first.

The engine oil dip stick

(1)

is located on the left side of the

engine, above the fuel fill location.

1. Keep all non-authorized personnel clear of the area.

Park the machine on a firm, level surface and turn off
the engine. Remove the dipstick to check the engine
oil level. Wipe the dipstick clean and reinsert. The oil
level should register at the full mark.

NOTE:

This procedure is best performed at the beginning

of the work day with the engine cool and all oil drained to
the pan

2. The fill location

partment. Add oil, if necessary. Do not overfill engine
oil.
