LOCAL RNET ACCESS PORT
The LS-1628 controller is equipped with a Local Rnet Access
port. Access to modify, configure, and diagnose the controller is
achieved by attaching an Equipment Touch 2™ device to the Lo
-
cal Rnet Access port. The Local Rnet Access port provides com
-
munication to the Equipment Touch device. Power to the Equip
-
ment Touch 2 is supplied by and external 24VDC power supply.
(See Fig. 4.) This port can also be utilized with a Carrier ZS2
space temperature sensor (optional) to monitor space temperature.
BAS COMMUNICATION
The LS-1628 controller Port 2a is configurable for EIA-232 or
EIA-485 (2-wire or 4-wire). The controller can be configured for
BACnet
1
(MS/TP, Arc156, IP, Ethernet) with external Building
Automation Systems (BAS). See Appendix A for BAS integration
guide.
