Features and Functions

Features

• Individual/Zone/All

In this central remote controller, the systems of
the indoor unit can be started/stopped in unit of
the individual system, systems in a zone, or all
systems.

Connecting a weekly timer (sold separately) or a
timer on the market, the central remote controller
can also perform timer operation.

• Operation mode

You can select a desired operation mode of
central remote controller from the following three
modes to correspond to various operation control.

Last-push priority mode :
Operation is available from both the central
remote controller and the remote controller at
indoor unit side.

Center mode :
Start/Stop operation only is available from the
remote controller at indoor unit side.

Operation lock mode :
Operation is impossible as the center controller
stops.

• Set up/Display function

In addition to each setting of MODE/FAN/TEMP.
etc., display of operation status, and filter sign, in
case of using the air conditioner as Multi-type, the
central remote controller incorporates plentiful
functions such as STANDBY display or CHECK
display when both cooling/heating functions are
installed.

• Automatic set up of function

For each indoor unit system, the range of opera-
tion mode change and the operation of discharge
louver are automatically set, and the function is
selected and displayed.

Functions

• Central management

• ON/OFF status of the indoor units and the detailed

operation status of the set up temperature etc. are con-
trolled and displayed for each system.

• Using a central remote controller together with another

central remote controller, the indoor units can be collec-
tively controlled from the separated positions.

• Remote controller management at indoor unit side

Three functions, last-push priority mode, center mode, or
operation lock mode, can be selected.

• Filter sign

“FILTER” display notifies the cleaning time of filter for each
system.

• STANDBY display

While using the air conditioner as Multi type, “STANDBY”
display notifies if the following symptom occurred.

• Since heating operation is performed in other indoor unit,

the cooling operation is disabled.

• Even if the operation mode selection is fixed to COOL or

HEAT, an incorrect operation will start.

• Compensation of power failure

If the power is turned off due to a power failure, etc., the set
up contents are stored in memory.

• Timer operation

Connecting weekly timer (sold separately) or a timer on the
market, the schedule operation can be easily performed.

• External signal

• Connecting a fire alarm signal on the fire alarm panel,

etc., a fire occurrence is notified with rapid flashing of ON
lamp (Red).  Operation of all the indoor units can be
forbidden.

System overview

In this central remote controller, Max. 64 systems of the indoor units (Max. 16 indoor units are connectable for 1 system)
can be started/stopped in unit of the individual system, systems in a zone, or all systems. Besides, the remote controller
mode (last-push priority, center, operation lock) at indoor unit side can be set up, and setting and display of the operation
status such as operation mode change, fan mode change, or set temperature is available.

Connecting a weekly timer (40RC004603) sold separately or a timer on the market, the central remote controller can also
perform timer operation.
