Adjusting the 

handlebar height  

 

 

Start with the handlebars at the same height as 
the seat. See what feels comfortable.
Your shoulders should be relaxed. Your arms 
should be slightly bent at the elbows. Remember 
the seat can be moved forward or backward if the 
handlebars are too close or too far away. Raising 
the handlebars will also move the handlebars 
further away.

Loosen the quick release lever by turning it 
anticlockwise to adjust the handlebar height. 
Move the handlebar post to the position you 
want. Lock that position firmly by turning
the lever clockwise. Make sure it is securely 
tightened and that there is no lateral or vertical 
movement of the handlebar.
