STEP 4
Fitting handlebars
•
Plug in the single connector 107A into 107B.
•
Important pay attention to the orientation of
the connector. The catch on the socket aligns
with the clip on the handlebar plug.
•
Hold the handlebars with the front section elevated as indicated in
the image. Align the pin (103) on the handlebar stem with the hole
on the inside of the handlebar (102) and slide the handlebar forward
to insert the pin.
•
Gently tuck the wire inside the handlebar cavity and lower the
handlebar into a horizontal position. Carefully release the handlebar
until certain it is located correctly.
•
Insert the 4 screws (104) into the handlebar, gently rock
the handlebars if needed to get the screws started,
turning with FINGERS FIRST to get the screws started.
Thread the screws in a few turns before using the Allen key.
•
Use the 5mm Allen key to thread the screws in completely
and tighten.

STEP 3
Pedals assembly
•
Attach the pedals (35R/35L) into the crank arms (31R/31L). Each
pedal is marked with the letter R (right) or L (left) to denote the side
of the bike they fit.
•
Be careful to align the threads correctly, holding the pedal at 90° to
the crank arm. To avoid thread damage start threading the pedal by
hand a few turns before using a spanner.
•
Tighten with 15mm spanner. Clockwise for the right-hand side and
anticlockwise for the left-hand side.
