ENGINE
•
Remove all fuel from the carburetor and
fuel tank before storing the vehicle for a
long time. Fuel in the carburetor will
deteriorate if left unused for a long time,
causing poor starting, or unstable opera-
tion of the engine. Do not use fuel which
has been left unused for a long time.

the engine.

8.2
BATTERY
1. Remove the battery from the vehicle. (
Page 35)
(When storing with battery in machine, disconnect minus
battery cable.)
2. Check the battery fluid level and add fluid as necessary.
3. Store the battery in a dry area with low temperature.
Notice:
Although the battery could be used without any recharges for
approximately 6 months, it would be recommended to
recharge before discharge for the battery's longer life.

1. Turn the fuel cock to "CLOSE" to stop fuel supply.
