PREPARE ENDOSCOPE FOR DISINFECTING

1. Pre-clean the endoscope to remove any organic debris.

Follow the endoscope manufacturer’s instructions for pre-cleaning or refer to established professional guidelines.

2. If the automated leak test function is enabled, install the waterproof caps and leak test adapters on the endoscope.

Follow the endoscope manufacturer’s instructions. Leak test adapters are available for Pentax, Olympus, Fujifilm,
Richard Wolf, Gyrus-ACMI/Olympus, EndoChoice, Karl Storz, Vision Sciences, Welch Allyn and Xion Endoscopes.

LOAD ENDOSCOPE INTO BASIN

Warning!

Periodically test hookups to ensure there are no blockages and that the

connections are secure. Verify condition of hookups and replace if worn or damaged.

Caution!

Use only Medivators supplied hookups with the DSD EDGE™ Reprocessor.

Do not modify or adulterate Medivators hookups.

Caution!

The hookups are not autoclavable and must be reprocessed by low temperature

disinfection only.

Caution!

The automated leak test is not a substitute for the endoscope manufacturer’s

manual leak test. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when performing a manual test.
