0 Before Disassembling the Machine
The descriptions in this chapter will be limited to the discussion of how to
disassemble the machine. To put it back again, reverse the steps used to dis-
assemble it (unless otherwise instructed).
0.1 Removing the Power Cord
1) Turn off the host machine, and discon-
nect the power cord [1] from the trim-
mer.

0.2 Checking the Operation After Re-assembly
Re-assemble the trimmer body, and turn on the trimmer and the copier; then, select trim
mode (trim ON) to check the following:
"Place 8 A4 originals in the copier, and produce 3 or so booklets using the Booklet mode
in the Special Features mode; then, check to make sure that the specified number of book-
lets have been produced normally."
