1 Maintenance and Inspection

See Chapter 3 for how to disassemble the machine for maintenance/inspection.

1.1 Tools Needed

• standard screwdriver
• isopropyl alcohol
• grease (CK-0562)

1.2 Periodically Replaced Parts

1) Cutter (upper/lower blade)

Replace it when it has been used 500,000 times of the cutting operation.

1.3 Periodically Cleaned/Inspected Parts

For the following, clean/inspect every 200,000 times of the cutting operation:

external cover
feeding belt/roller
area around waste case
feed drive unit

The details are as follows:

1) External Cover

Clean it using isopropyl alcohol.
