1) Compute the reference value; e.g., {(A3: 420 mm/2) - 3.5 mm} ± 0.5 mm will be '206.5

± 0.5 mm'.

2) Feed paper in trim mode, and measure the width of the paper stack at its top and bottom.

3) (larger of the two: 208.8 mm) - (reference value: 206.5 mm) = 2.3 mm; thus, enter '2.3
