6.4 Checking the Photointerrupters
The machine allows checking its photointerrupters by means of a conventional meter or
its service mode.
a. Using a Meter
1) Set the meter range to 30 VDC.
2) Connect the (-) probe of the meter to any of the following:
DC controller PCB: J102-8 (GND)
Serial driver PCB: J317-4 (GND)
Duplex driver PCB: J505-4 (GND)
Pedestal controller PCB: J650-3 (GND)
3) Connect the (+) probe to the terminals indicated (in tables that follow).
4) Make checks as instructed.
b. Using Service Mode
1) Start service mode, and select I/O.
2) Display the I/O address to check, and make a check as instructed.
