- 340006 Alarm code: Correct color mismatch alarm (color displacement is not properly corrected as a result
of the drum phase control.) Possibly an error in the drum phase sensor.
Cause
Because the tension spring in the secondary transfer roller unit comes off, the patch sensor cannot be set at
the proper position. As a result, the symptom occurs.
Photos [A] and [C] below show the state of the tension spring installed improperly, and Photos [B] and [D]
show the proper state of the tension spring.
Service work
Following the procedure below, check the state of the tension spring installed and correct its position.
1) Open the right door unit fully.
2) Check the state of the tension spring installed. If the tension spring is out of position, correct it by referring
to the photos shown in "Cause."
