Directory Dialing
Directory dialing allows you to look up a name you have registered in the
machine and retrieve the number for dialing. This feature is convenient when
you know the party’s name but cannot recall the one-touch speed dialing key
or the code for speed dialing or group dialing where the number is registered.

Press [Directory].
<NO TEL #> appears if there are no numbers registered, and the display returns
to the dial entry mode.

Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name you
are searching for.
For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter “H,” press
[4] (GHI) twice.

Press [Set].
•
The names registered in the machine are displayed according to the letter you
entered.
•
If there is no name that starts with the letter you entered, the next name in
alphabetical order appears.

] to display other names.
•
Pressing [
e
] displays the names registered in the machine in alphabetical order.
Pressing [

] displays them in reverse order.
•
When you reach the last name, the display returns to the first name.

Press [Set].
The party’s fax number and name, or <GROUP DIAL> and the group’s name
appear.
