Return to the Standby Mode

Press [Stop/Reset] to return the machine to the Standby
mode.

If you do not press a key for two minutes, the machine automatically returns to
the Standby mode.

Entering Names, Numbers, and Symbols

When you come to a step that requires you to enter a name for data registration,
follow the procedure below.

In a display that requires a name entry, the letter or number in the upper right
corner of the LCD display tells you the entry mode.

You must press [Function] before you can use the [Space]

, [Delete]

, or

[Clear]

key. When you press [Function], the key lights up.

Press [

] on the numeric keypad to change the entry mode.

The keys on the numeric keypad are clearly labeled with one number and some

letters.
